In a positive sense, salt speaks of preservation or incorruptibility or a covenant or it speaks of something that endures.
In a negative sense, salt speaks of the opposite of what I mentioned above. It can also speak of the judgment of God, in some cases.
It depends on the dream or vision and the other symbols involved.
