My adult daughter Kaity had this dream last night.

She was with a bunch of friends in the barn at her grandparents house and they were petting the horses. After petting them the horses became aggressive and started attacking. The horses then turned into dogs. Some were light brown some were red. Some looked like gray wolves. Kaity climbed up a wall to get away from the attack. Her black dog, Luna, was there with her.
Her dad was there also and he was throwing tennis balls to the wild, attacking dogs. Her dad told her it was a good things she wasn’t attacked by the cougar and she said she didn’t think the cougar was there anymore. She looked down at the ground to step over a hole and she looked up and saw a bunch of very colorful kites flying above her. It was daylight, blue sky, no clouds.

      Hi Gina,

In dreams and visions, animals speak of the attitude and actions of people. Animals reveal the hidden attitudes of people. Horses speak of powerful people and them turning into dogs speaks of aggressive and dangerous people. A black dog symbolizes a person who is unappreciative and blasphemous. Just like dogs, these people rip valuable things to pieces as if it has no value. People like these are very similar to the Pharisees who did not recognize Jesus Christ as the Son of God. To them, He was just a man and they did to him what dogs do to valuable precious objects. Wolves are even worse: A wolf in dreams and visions often symbolizes a person with the character or attitude of a Pharisee. These people are false, hypocritical, and evil. They are evil because they can cause a great deal of harm in the church of Christ. They are like wolfs among sheep. Sometimes they hide among the sheep pretending to be a sheep. God sometimes exposes the nature of such a person in churches and congregations in a dream. Light brown speaks of sinful behavior and actions and red speaks of aggressiveness, conflict and hate, and dissent.

I think this dream is a warning about an undesired incident involving people that are as horses and dogs and wolves that will take place soon.

The fact that your husband was there as well and him throwing tennis balls at them speaks of him very intelligently arguing with them with the goal to convince them of the point that he wanted to get across to them. In a natural sense, balls symbolize natural arguments and in such cases, it has nothing to do with spiritual matters at all. A person dreaming that he is involved in a tennis match with somebody like his employer is actually warned to prepare himself for an argument with his employer. He might have to outwit his employer to save a specific situation.

Sometimes an argument bothers a person. In such a case such a person might dream of a tennis ball or a tennis match soon after the argument took place. In such a case, such a dream is an emotional restoration dream.

So this is either a warning of an undesired incident approaching or this incident already happened. If it happened already then this was an emotional restoration dream. The incident bothered your daughter so much that she dreamt about it.

David thank you so much for your reply! In discussing it further with Kaity, we determined that the trigger might be a group text message that her dad sent to her and her step siblings. (he and I have been divorced for 20 years and he is remarried) in the text he confessed to having been in an extramarital relationship for the past 2 years, neither I nor Kaity believe he confessed to this out of remorse, cheating is pretty much a norm for him.
There has been no incident or confrontation yet but I also, as you said, believe that it is a warning of what may be coming.

I can find no reference to kite. The kites were flying so that means there was wind. Holy Spirit? The end of the dream seems to indicate it will turn out okay for Kaity..? She said she had peace, watching the kites flying in the clear blue sky.

Hi Gina, yes you are right! I completely forgot about the kites! Well, a kite in dreams and visions represents our interaction with the Holy Spirit (wind). We are working together with the Holy Spirit and we are using the directions and moves of the Holy Spirit (wind) to keep the flight soaring higher and higher into heaven. In the process, our eyes are fixed on “heaven”. A kite is not a real vehicle but primarily used a a toy and therefore for relaxation purposes. The clear blue sky speaks of the blessings and glory of God.

God used this action (the kites, representing your daughter relaxing in the workings of the Spirit of God) and He connected it to the bad incident. So He is basically saying, “Don’t worry, everything will be alright. I have this under control. Just keep your eyes on heaven (God almighty). She also stepped over the hole, not in it.

The incident that you described about the texting is probably what triggered this dream. This incident probably caused some fears and emotions in the heart of your daughter and that bothered her enough to trigger the dream. Anyway, whether it was this or even an incident approaching, she will be OK. God is with her.
