I don’t know what precipitated this dream but I was with my mom at her family reunion and my grandmother (who died in 1984) was speaking to us
I marveled that she was still alive, although she was frail. A female relative spoke to her and was careless of her balance. This relative let go of her and she slid almost to the floor. Granny was addressing me, my sisters and my brother. She spoke of her brother having cancer and said it ran in the family and that each of us should watch out for it. I went to her, sat down and asked if she wanted to sit on my knees. She said yes and she sat there. She felt very light. I said now this is how you need to say this, cancer was in my brother but there is none in Jesus; it ran into Him and it ran out. None of you will ever have it, we sent it back to the devil where it came from. No, I will not live my life in fear of it. Jesus has delivered me. My sisters were repeating this after me. I told Granny we loved her and are so thankful that she accepted Jesus. Somebody mentioned a scripture about passing down a blessing to your family. In the next scene there were many children at church. I took one young boy who was misbehaving into the children’s church room. It was very colorful and packed with many resources for the kids. My cousin Ann was teaching them and she spoke of how much she loved being at this church. I said there are many great fun adventures and if I were a butterfly, I could fly to the skies. I told this to the kids and we talked of great spiritual adventures.

      Hi Kathy,

This type of dream (about ancestors) sometimes speaks about their legacy or experience that they have left to us. It is wonderful to talk to an old man or woman who is full of God, full of wisdom, and full of experience. We can listen to them. However, the opposite is also true. We sometimes listen to our senior people and ancestors (books that they have written or things that we have heard about them) that are not good advice or good information.

This is the case with your grandmother Kathy. But it is wonderful to see how you dealt with this in the dream. You did not accept her legacy. You rejected it and even taught your family to accept and cling to the opposite, and, you did it all in love without offending your grandmother. This is how it is supposed to be done when people who are respected and adored by us, unknowingly teach us wrong things.

In the dream, being frail, almost slipping, and being so light, when she sat on your knee, speak of her spiritual shortcomings. The scene flowing into this colorful happy atmosphere with so many resources, speaks of your legacy. You are not like your Grandma. You are really full of God and wisdom and you have already and you will leave a wonderful legacy to your children and grandchildren.

I do not know what triggered the ream. If you can remember, you will know exactly what this dream was all about.
