My name is Basie Martins. I trust that you are all well and I want to thank you again for listening to this program. For those of you who do not know, we are currently discussing general topics relevant to the church and all Christians and all people. With this series, we want to determine how God feels about everyday things and everyday events in our lives. We want to familiarize ourselves with the will and the ways of God.

Today, we are discussing the second part of our discussion on how Christians can follow just two important steps in their lives that will cause miracles in their lives. People do not experience healing and restoration and miracles in their lives because they have never decided to follow these steps. The moment they do, their lives will change dramatically. At that moment they know that no matter what they are facing, victory is always guaranteed. They will know that they can always overcome any situation. Because there is nothing that God cannot deal with. Because there is no problem that He cannot solve for them. Because no challenge cannot be dealt with successfully, victory is always guaranteed and people who took these steps will know it. All this became a reality the moment they followed the two steps that I mentioned last week in part 1.

We discussed the steps that we need to follow. The first step is to study and to meditate on the word of God so that the word of God can produce the necessary faith that you need. Proper meditation automatically produces the necessary faith in our hearts. Remember that without faith it is impossible to please God. The second step is to live an obedient life that pleases God because if you do, you can ask him whatsoever you want and you will receive it. It is all guaranteed.

We also realized that if we do not take these two steps that we must not think that we will receive anything from God. In such a case, we will have to rely on the support systems of the world to prevent seriously bad consequences in our lives. We do understand that the support systems of the world help but it has serious limitations and even side effects and even bad results. Because of this we cannot trust it or depend on it if we want to be safe and sound in all areas of life.

We realized that we actually have no choice. A good decision is to follow God’s ways and not the world’s ways. The best choice is to step out in faith and follow these steps. It is not difficult at all but it does take some commitment and a bit of an effort. You need to study the word of God and you need to “pump the word” like a bodybuilder pumps his muscles by the repetitive actions of lifting those weights every day until his goal is reached. Once you have reached your goal, which is to produce faith in your heart, the job is done. You can stop working out but you will have to maintain your condition by meditating some of the Scriptures, especially the most important ones, now and then. You need to be reminded of them now and then.

In addition to this, you constantly need to evaluate your life and your motives and your actions to make sure you live a pleasing life in the presence of God. This is the constant pursuit of holiness in your life. And that’s it. If you do this you will have faith and you will be able to ask God whatsoever you want. You will live a successful life. It is as easy as that.

At first, it will be a bit challenging because you will have to deal with your fears and the changes that you make will be challenging but, eventually, you will overcome all obstacles and you will enter a time of rest and victory. You will eventually reign as a king of God over your own circumstances.

What a wonderful expectation these steps stir up in our hearts? What a wonderful reality this is. To realize and to understand that this is true. The word of God is true and this lifestyle is a reality. We can achieve it and we can make this a reality in our lives if we follow these easy steps. We can experience life-changing miracles every day of our lives. We can even expand it by taking this to other people. We can lay hands on the sick and we can restore other people’s lives as well. Not just our own. We can deliver people from bondage. We can have a huge impact on other people and in the community.

It is important to understand that there are two ways to achieve this goal and to restore yourself. There are two methods that you can follow to get healed and to get delivered of any bondage. You can either be restored through your own faith or you can be restored through the faith of somebody else. The latter is a lot easier on yourself but it has its disadvantages. The former is tough on yourself and it has everlasting benefits. However, some people, who are very sick or terminally ill will have to follow both methods to ensure that they do not run out of time. There is always the possibility that they might die before they succeeded in building up the required faith in their hearts.

Money! What a Babylonian Confusion!

So let’s discuss the easy and faster way first. Why is this method working a lot quicker? Is it effective? What are the difficulties in this regard? Why does it sometimes fail?

God equipped people who walk on this earth, just like Jesus did, healing people just like Jesus did and delivering people who are in bondage, just like Jesus did. Some are releasing the living Christ in them and they give life to people with who they interact. They heal people because of their faith in their hearts. These people have powerful ministries. The degree of success and power in this regard differ quite a lot. Some are very successful and some less successful and some just a little successful. The bottom line is, these people will get you healed because of their faith and not yours.

God uses a second group of people as well, who are not as powerful as the group of people that I mentioned just now. They do not have the required faith but the gift of faith and the gift of healing and deliverance works through them. They are generally less successful than the first group but they will get you healed as long as you keep allowing such people to pray for you. This means that you do not stop asking and allowing people to pray for you. You keep on doing this until you have received your healing.

Nothing about you has any influence on the outcome when these two groups of people pray for you. It is their faith healing you or the gift of faith or the gift of healing that causes the breakthrough, not your faith. When people like this pray for you, it is better that you do not rely on your own faith. Just be an open vessel ready to receive your healing. You must just raise your hands if you want to, and receive your healing. Do not attempt to generate faith or to help from your side. Don’t even pray with them. Just accept and receive your healing. They will do the praying and they will release the necessary faith to heal you.

Now the good news is that nothing that you are or what you do have any effect on the outcome. It does not matter what your level of spiritual maturity is. It does not matter if there is sin in your life. It does not matter if you have faith or not. Just like Jesus, when these people pray for you they will get you healed no matter who or what you are.

Jesus Christ prayed for many people and they were all healed. Some had sins in their lives. Some had unforgiveness in their hearts and some were full of unbelief yet they were all healed.

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Did you know that the only reason ever given why the disciples could not heal people or deliver people was unbelief? So Jesus never failed because He always had faith, no matter who He prayed for or what their spiritual condition was. The disciples were not so successful. They did fail sometimes and the only reason ever given was unbelief. Every single time that they asked Jesus why they could not deliver or heal a person, the answer was, because of your unbelief.

Later on, after Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostles did not fail anymore because they did not have the problem of unbelief anymore as we can see in Acts 5:15-16:

15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

As you can see in verse 16, everyone was healed when the apostles prayed for them. Because the apostles had the required faith, as Jesus did, they could heal everyone, irrespective of the spiritual condition of the people that they prayed for. This is why the two groups of people will get you healed.

Jesus and the disciples prayed for four types of people: Unsaved people, recently saved people, carnal Christians, and spiritual or Spirit-led Christians, and they healed them all. All people in the world fall into one of these categories. By the way, Mark 4:3-8 mention and explains these four categories:

3 “Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:”

4 “And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.”

5 “And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:”

6 “But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.”

7 “And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.”

8 “And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.”

The word of God affects these four groups as explained in this Scripture. Unsaved people are not at all influenced by the word of God. They just reject it completely and they live without God. The word of God influences and affects newborn babies just a little. They can only consume milk at that stage. They are still babes in Christ and they cannot handle the meat. The word of God influences and affects carnal Christians just a little. They are also not able to consume the meat. They are spiritually more developed than new converts but they are not at all mature. The last group of Christians is influenced by the word of God tremendously. These are mature Christians.

How Does God Make a Worker?

Jesus and the disciples prayed for all these people and they healed them all. This is the will and the ways of God. However, they do not all keep their healing. Some of them lose it again. This is the reason why Jesus told them that they are healed but that they must stop sinning because if they do not stop sinning, even more serious things will come over them. This is the ways of God. He will heal all but they will become sick again if they do not live according to the will of God.

Why does this method sometimes fail? Either the person praying for you did not have the necessary faith the moment he or she prayed for you. Or the gift of faith or the gift of healing did not manifest through them when they prayed and this happened not because of you but because of something in their lives. Or they were not pursuing holiness at the time that they prayed for you. We usually do not know which of the reasons caused such people not to be successful when they prayed for other people.

However, you must realize that the outcome has nothing to do with you. You just keep searching for people like this and allow as many people as possible to pray for you as many times as possible. You will find people like this and one of them will get you healed eventually.

Now one of the major problems with this method is the fact that such people that walk in this power and faith and even those with these gifts are fairly scarce and sometimes difficult to find. Try to identify as many people as possible in your area or province or state and try to visit their meetings. Just a word of caution though. These people will get you healed but their teachings are not always Biblical. Just be aware of this problem. Let them pray for you but, more often than not, do not listen to what they say or teach.

The other method, where you rely on your own faith, especially when you decided to build up faith in your heart so that you can pray for yourself and other people, you have decided on the best option but, it is a lot more difficult and a lot more challenging. It takes much longer but the moment that you reached your goal, you have achieved two other things as well that I call by-products. You are now able to live in divine healing and you are now able to heal other people as well and deliver them from any demonic bondage.

The reasons why this method is more difficult are the following: Initially, you do not have the necessary faith when you take this route. And the gifts of healing and faith are probably not functioning in your life. So if we rely on other people to pray for us, our own faith is not a requirement. But when you pray for yourself and others, you need faith. Without faith, we cannot please God and he who does not have faith must not think that he will receive anything from God. Another reason is that we do need to live a holy life in the presence of God if we want to pray for ourselves and others. What is a holy life that pleases God? It does not mean that you are not allowed to do or say anything wrong. It means that you are actively pursuing holiness and you do not accommodate or cherish secret sins in your life. It means that you are doing your best to live like God wants you to.

So if you decided upon this option, it will be challenging but you will succeed and you will achieve your goals. You will build up the necessary faith and the necessary level of holiness in your heart and in your life and you will live a divine and successful and victorious life here on earth and you will enter into the divine rest of God.

This is all true but I need to prepare you for this method by explaining the consequences. Although these steps are relatively easy, it is not so easy to stay committed. You are going to experience circumstances and moments and incidents that will be hard or difficult and challenging. Do not say that I did not warn you. Before you reach that place of rest, you will experience and face a lot of challenges and difficult decisions. You will be confused at times and you will question quite a few things.

Why does this happen? What are the challenges that you probably have to deal with? You will ask questions like, Why am I struggling to make a breakthrough? Am I doing something wrong? Have I got the necessary faith? Why does the breakthrough in certain areas take so long? Why is it so difficult? Why is God not healing me instantly? Why does it feel that I have to work for my healing or my breakthrough? Isn’t it supposed to be through grace and not by works? What is going on? What am I doing wrong? Am I not good enough? Is there some sin in my life that I did not deal with yet? If there is then it means that I am not complying with step number two. Therefore I cannot ask God whatever I need because I am not living a life that is pleasing to God.

Married couples sometimes start to blame each other when the breakthroughs do not come easily and rapidly. I should rather say, the wife asks the husband whether he thinks he is doing something wrong as she cannot understand why the breakthroughs do not come, or visa versa.

After all the questions, some people become very disheartened and they start accusing God that He is making it especially hard for them to live like this. This lifestyle is just too difficult. I expected to be healed by now but yet, here I am still suffering. I expected my financial situation to be a lot better by now.

For many people, nothing changes for quite some time. They are faithful and committed to the best of their ability. They study the word of God. They “pump” the word of God to build that faith-muscles like a bodybuilder pumps his weights. They live as pure and holy as they can before God. They step out in faith. They stay committed. They act on the word of God. They get rid of all worldly support systems and although they experience some successes and although they realize that God is not failing them, they do experience no significant changes in some areas.

Why is it like this? Sometimes it feels that they received their healing or they feel a lot better only to experience a relapse a few months later. Sometimes they have to start all over again, especially when they started to speak negatively about things in their lives, undoing everything that they believed for, and so it goes on and on. It is sometimes a real struggle for some people.

Believe me, it is wonderful to be an overcomer. It is wonderful to enter into that time of rest when you have conquered all the giants in your life. But, the road to that place is not so easy. It is difficult at times.

In my own life, I wrestled with God about this. I asked him why is it so difficult. I was a bit depressed at the time when I wrestled with him about this matter. This happened after I asked a lot of questions about my own abilities to achieve the necessary faith, my ability to pursue holiness and my insecurities, and just a lot of things that confused me quite a lot. He did answer me and I was a bit surprised when He answered me. He showed me a gravel road with a few loose rocks and a few potholes and obstacles. I could see a car traveling on this gravel road, slower than usual, to avoid the loose rocks and potholes but also to get over the obstacles safely. The next moment He showed me a big hand rolling out a soft and massive carpet that covered the whole road from side to side. This carpet covered all obstacles and potholes and rocks. I then saw a car traveling effortlessly down this road without any difficulty. It was almost if God asked me if this is what I want.

What Causes Sicknesses and Diseases?

I immediately knew that this is not supposed to be like this. God cannot make our lives easy because then we cannot learn to live in faith and by faith and through faith. If our faith is not tested we cannot grow spiritually. I immediately understood why this path that we embarked upon was so difficult.

A person I know who also embarked on this divine lifestyle a few years ago once told me the following: He said that he questioned God about this aspect. He thought that this journey would be easy and smooth-sailing all the way just because he decided to be obedient and willing to live as God wants him to live. He thought that just because he reported for duty, that God would have honored this brave step of faith and obedience and that God would have made things easy for him because of that. He should have had it easier than other people who did not even embark on this journey.

Well, it did not happen. The journey was wonderful and he could feel how he grew spiritually like he never did before. But, the journey was tough and even unbearable at times. Sometimes even life-threatening. It took quite a lot of “guts” to carry on, he told me.

He wrestled with God about this and God answered him. God showed him a tarmac road. His side of the road was as smooth as a granite kitchen top and he could see just as smooth slipways now and then where he could easily and effortlessly leave the road whenever he wanted to. He noticed that the other side of the road, which was separated from his side by the broken white lines in the middle of the road, was normal tar which was not so smooth. He also noticed that there were no slipways on that side. People on that road could not or did not leave the road. They just kept going.

My friend understood what this meant. It means that the smooth road will cause people to abandon the walk of faith. Because their faith would not or could not be tested, they would not have reached their destination. People would have abandoned the walk of faith because it would have been impossible to show them how they progressed or what they achieved. It is literally a fact that if you can trust God for a small thing, and your faith is tested with that small thing, and you pass the test, it enables you to try something a bit more difficult. This is exactly how faith develops in people’s lives.

If your faith is not tested, it is like a person who prepares for a career or who wants to the best in a specific sport or something similar, who does not have to write any examinations or who is never tested to prove that he has mastered the specific material or aspects that he needed to master to do the job or to successfully execute the task. How can you improve yourself if you do not compete against other people or yourself or if your abilities are not tested?

The reality is that there are no shortcuts in this regard. How can you raise somebody from the dead if you could not heal a person from a cold?

My friend understood that we start with little things and then we move to the more difficult things. We learn to crawl before we learn to walk. We start to trust and to believe God for smaller things and when we have the necessary faith we move on to more difficult things. Most people start with financial breakthroughs. Then they start receiving healing. Some medical conditions disappear easier than others. Then they realize that they are struggling with some medical issues that seem to remain no matter what they do. Then they eventually receive healing when even these difficult diseases start to disappear. Then they start praying for other people and some are getting healed. Then they start casting out demons. Then they become bolder and they pray for really serious diseases. Then they raise the dead and then they start moving mountains. By the way, you can read om my website about a specific incident when a child of God literally moved a mountain. He had to do it because it was a matter of life or death. I am not joking. It literally happened.

During this process, people realize that they do not have faith for certain things at certain times in their lives. Some conditions or situations are just too challenging for them at some stages in their spiritual growth. In such cases, they do not even consider praying for a person who has such a condition. But a year or two later they start to pray for such conditions and people are getting healed. How and why did this happen? It happened because they did not give up. Every little progress that they have made gave them more faith and more confidence. And so their faith developed. This is exactly how David developed. At first, he probably dealt with foxes and other animals that were more of a nuisance than a danger. Later on, he had to deal with a bear or a lion and eventually he dealt with Goliath and Saul and many other soldiers and even whole armies.

Evangelism: An Excellent Adaptation

My aim with this week’s program is to help you and to prepare you for this process. If you know what to expect and how to deal with it, you will be in a much better position to see this through successfully.

So our biggest challenges are to make sure that we build up faith in our hearts and that we pursue holiness. Faith comes automatically by meditating on the word of God and pursuing holiness is just a decision and a commitment not to willfully accommodate sin in your life.

Remember that faith does not come by listening to sermons about faith. That will be a complete waste of time. Faith comes by aggressively meditating the word of God or “pumping” the word of God like a bodybuilder pumps his muscles with the weights until it produces the required or the necessary faith that you need in your heart. You need to concentrate on specific Scriptures about healing and finances and the word of God and faith and so on. I am in the process of compiling such a guide and will make it available on my website in due time.

Remember that pursuing holiness does not mean that you are super holy and that you do not make mistakes. It means that you are not accommodating secret sins in your life. It means that you are pursuing holiness irrespective of you failing sometimes. That is normal and God does not hold that against you.

Christians who embarked on this path are always wondering why are their healing not manifesting immediately or why are they still struggling with their finances or certain sicknesses and diseases and certain issues in life. As time passes they start to look for reasons why their breakthroughs take so long and this is where many of them make observations or many of them come to conclusions that are not correct and not Biblical.

As soon as they know that they do have the required faith and that they do pursue holiness, yet the breakthrough does not come, they start to question things. This is when they open themselves up for all sorts of reasons that bring even more confusion.

Most of the time, they just need to carry on and be patient. God is probably testing their patience and their commitment and their faith. The Bible does say that we should be faithful and that we should persist.

Romans 8:25

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

James 1:4

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Luke 18:1

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Romans 8:37

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

So as you can see all these Scriptures say that we should not give up but that we should be patient, we should not faint, we should carry on or keep on without ceasing, we should be constantly be reaching forth, we should be confident and so on. It means that we should never give up and utterly trust God knowing that He will not leave or forsake us. By the way, people know when they have the required faith and they know if they are faithfully pursuing holiness.

I wrestled with God again about this process being difficult and even life-threatening. Well, I think I need to explain to you why I use the words “life-threatening”. You see it is not really life-threatening. There is just no way that God will fail you or allow you to fail when you embarked on the road of faith. Victory is actually guaranteed. As long as you do not give up. However, people will warn you that these incidents can be life-threatening or at least of a serious nature.

Let me tell you of such incidents in my life. I have had a heart attack about a year before I embarked on this path. A cardiologist inserted a stent into one of my arteries just after the heart attack and I had to use heart medication for the rest of my life. Well, after I have built up enough faith, I canceled my medical insurance and I stopped using the medication.

The Purpose Of Sicknesses and Diseases

About five times after that I experienced heart attacks again but I just ignored it. I just walked to a field near my house or I went to my outside prayer room and I just reminded God of his word. Each time it was very painful and exactly how it was with the first heart attack when I ended up in the ICU. Each time I just “pumped” the word of God until all the symptoms left me. Each time that the heart attacks stopped or ceased, my faith grew. I can remember that just after the last one I had a dream of Jesus standing next to me and confirming that I am healed. I remember me being so glad and thanking him three times for that. Each time He nodded whilst smiling at me and then I knew that the breakthrough materialized.

I can remember that four or five times during that time that my heart just stopped beating. Each time it went into a sort of vibration mode and my hands lost any feeling. When this happened I felt very weak. Moving was an effort. At that time I already knew that I can just ignore these symptoms. I just decided to sleep because I knew that I would still be alive and well the next morning.

Three different times during those years I had strokes. Each time, the muscles in one half of my face just started jerking and contracting and shaking uncontrollably. Each time I just ignored this. I knew that I would not die and that everything would be fine. At that stage of my life, I already knew that the word of God is yes and amen which means guaranteed and that everything would be alright. At that time I already knew that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I knew that what I experienced is not evidence that I am having a stroke and that I am about to get very sick. I knew that faith is the evidence that everything is well in my life and in my body.

During those years I had an explosion in my left eyeball. It prevented me from seeing clearly. I later learned that this was a stroke in my eye. I ignored this as well and in the Name of Jesus I commanded the blood or substance that obstructed my view to dissolve and it did. Within a few days, it was completely dissolved.

So yes, people may say that I experienced life-threatening incidents but I beg to differ. With God, there is no such thing as a life-threatening incident. However, I must give people a warning in this regard. If you do not have the required faith for a specific condition or situation at that time, or if you do not live like God wants you to, you probably will be in trouble when something like this happens. You might die as a result of that. If this is the case, you need to seek medical assistance. Just another word of caution; never test your faith on your spouse or your children. You just cannot do that. If you do not have faith, you will put their lives in danger.

So to come back to me talking to God about this process being so difficult at times. I told him that if I prepare people for this and if I tell them that it would be challenging and that they might even have to face life-threatening situations, they would be too scared to sign up for this.

His answer surprised me. He said that people are very brave and courageous. Just like they signed up for world war two, knowing that they will probably lose their lives for the cause, they will do the same for his cause. I told him that people will probably be willing to die for him, but what about the challenging lifestyle? He told me that it is similar to people signing up for the Navy Seals. In fact, being trained to become a Navy Seal is far more challenging and a lot tougher than being trained to be an obedient warrior of God. People know that training is tough but they also know that it is just temporary. After you graduated things are a lot easier and people are dealing with challenges a lot easier than they had to when they were still in training. Of course, just like a Navy Seal, we will have to stay in shape but that is not a problem. The lifestyle of Navy Seals is quite doable and people who signed up for it are actually very fond of such a lifestyle. To them, it is not an effort at all. It is the same for spiritual warriors.

Well, I have done it and if I have to do it again, I will. So I assume God is right about this. People will count the cost and they will sign up for duty as we see in Luke 14:25-33:

25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

26 “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

27 “And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”

28 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”

29 “Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,”

30 “Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.”

31 “Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?”

32 “Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.”

33 “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.”

People know it won’t be easy because there are no shortcuts. If you stand next to the corpse of your child and you want to raise her from the dead, you will have to have faith. Without faith, we cannot do a thing. If the doctor tells you that you have cancer and that you have only a few months to live, you need faith to kill that disease in its tracks. Without faith, we cannot survive and faith does not come easy. Faith needs to be developed in our lives. We need to build up faith in our hearts not only through the word of God but also by being successful in the smaller things so that we can be successful in the bigger things.

How Brokenness Happens

It takes guts and commitment and an effort. I have done this. Millions of people have done this and it works. Faith cannot fail. The word of God cannot fail. It can be utterly trusted. It is always guaranteed but people do not know this. They do not know this because preachers are not teaching this. If the five-fold ministry teaches the truth, people will break out of this state of powerless unbelief.

The five-fold ministry must step out in faith and they must show the people how to do the same. People are very good at mimicking other people. Show them how to do it and they will do it. People are created in the image of God. They are not God but they are of the same class as God. That is why the church is the bride of Christ. God won’t marry a species that is not of the same class as He is. People are full of God. People are courageous and people are strong. They can do whatever it takes to get the job done. They do it in the power of God anyway. It is not them doing the job in their own power.

So with this two-part program, I aimed to show people that it is possible to live as the apostles did in Biblical times. It is possible to go out and to preach the gospel of Christ and to heal the sick and to cast out demons and to raise the dead and to perform miracles in the lives of people, just like Jesus did. He said that we would perform even greater miracles because He went to the Father. However, the church is not doing so and that needs to change.

We arrived at a place in history that this is going to change. Christians are going to stand up and be counted. Many brave warriors of God are going to sign up and they are going to advance the kingdom of God. If you want to be part of this. If you want to shake off that powerless attitude of unbelief or mediocre passiveness, come report for service. Sign up. It is time. You can and you will succeed because it is always guaranteed. Nothing is impossible with God. It does not matter who you are or what you are. If you can believe God. Come.

This is all for today. See you next time.
