Q – Symbols (The meanings or the interpretation of most symbols in this dictionary are derived from the Bible)

Queen

A Queen symbolizes the church of God as the bride of Christ. It speaks of the authority of the church.

Quiver

Isaiah 49:2

And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me.

Jeremiah 5:16

Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.

Lamentations 3:13

He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

Psalms 127:1-5

1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

A quiver in dreams and visions symbolizes protection and covering in the midst of the battle (us being soldiers for our God in this world). It speaks of us being safe in the hands of God for the reason He wants to use us. He has anointed us. He has given us the ability to be his ambassadors. He sharpened our mouths, He made our mouths like swords, He made us a polished shaft, He protects these weapons (us) in his quiver.

This speaks of Christians totally protected whilst they are changing this world by “shooting” the word of God (arrows) into the “hearts” and “reins” of the people of this world. “Heart” speaks of people accepting the gospel of Christ and “reins” speaks of the conscience of people, acknowledging the fact that they need to repent and that they need to pursue holiness.
